Job Title: Technical Office Engineer

Department: Technical Office

Industry: Porcelain Installation & Finishing

Job Responsibilities

Design and prepare shop drawings for porcelain installation works and submit them to the project consultant/client for approval prior to execution.

Prepare cutting lists, including required quantities, dimensions, materials, and specifications.

Prepare all shop drawings required for both on-site and off-site works.

Revise and update drawings according to changes and comments received from the project's technical supervision team.

Prepare quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and project requirements.

Manage and follow up on all technical communications with consultants, clients, project management, and relevant parties.

Implement and follow the company's Technical Office policies and procedures.

Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve any technical conflicts that may arise during project execution.

Coordinate with the Site Engineer and provide the required site measurements and technical information.

Review as-built drawings to support project invoicing and quantity verification.

Participate in identifying and resolving any unexpected technical difficulties that may arise before or during installation works.

Report technical issues and project-related problems to management and participate in developing appropriate solutions.

Ensure that all drawings and technical documents comply with project specifications and approved standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in Technical Office, Shop Drawings, architectural finishing, or porcelain installation is preferred.

Strong experience in preparing and modifying Shop Drawings is required.

Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Good knowledge of SketchUp.

Knowledge of 3ds Max is preferred.

Good computer skills and the ability to learn and use new technical software.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Ability to work effectively with Site Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and other technical teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in porcelain, marble, tiles, architectural finishing, or installation works will be considered a strong advantage.
